Our Next Featured Artist: LadySlim

Kitreace Harris (born December 18, 1988), better known by her stage name as "LadySlim," is an American hip hop recording artist and songwriter. Though she started rapping at the early age of nine, she didn't start her career until she was seventeen. Since 2008, she has performed many shows in the New York City area. In November 2010 she won a rap competition at Club Iguana which lead to a music video shoot for her lead single "In The Morning." LadySlim was victorious a second time in August 2011 after winning a 16 Bars competition at Club Iguana.

LadySlim has released four buzz singles (including "Hottest In the Hood" and "Slim's Revenge") and was featured on "What's Up" with 2nd. She released her first single titled "In The Morning" on March 2011 which impacted radio stations on April 21st, 2011. Other tracks from the mixtape, including a snippet from "I'm a Rockstar" and "The Intro", were released in the following weeks.

On May 3rd, 2011, LadySlim announced that "Just Let Me Do Me" (the title of her debut mixtape) will be released in the weeks to come (via Twitter). As of late August, the mixtape still awaits a release date.

  • There is a Performance fee of $199.00 in order to guarantee your spot in the show. 
  • You will only be allowed to pay performance fee at the door day of if there is space available in the shows line up. You should pay in advance @ Simplginius@gmail.com
  • Tickets to the show are sold at $15 each and can be purchased at the door day of show on a first come, first served basis.
  • All Performers will be allotted a total of 3 minutes of performance time to use presenting either a full song or a medley.
  • All Performers must provide their music in TV TRack format, Ad Libs (NO RECORDED VOCALS) in a MP3 AND CD format only. 
  • Only ONE song should be on your flash drive and CD.
  • The Producers/DJ will not be responsible for any lost or damage to materials. 
  
  
  Official Showcase Rules and Wavier will be distributed to you at registration or prior to Show start on day of. All performers must agree to and sign waiver in order to perform.
